The FujiFilm X-Pro 1

***Note: The Open­ing shot of this blog was obvi­ously NOT shot with a Fuji X-Pro 1, because they’re not out yet and I’m not spe­cial. I thought an iPhone photo was fit­ting because the X-Pro 1 should be par­tic­u­larly well-suited to this kind of incon­spic­u­ous, street style photography.

Because I never intended to make this blog overly tech­ni­cal, I’m not going to wax poetic about the just-announced Fuji­film X-Pro 1… Suf­fice to say, O.M.G. I will have one (or two) in my hot lit­tle hands as soon as I can pos­si­bly man­age it. I think that this cam­era, for me, is the game changer I’ve been wait­ing for. The cam­era that packs the image qual­ity of the 5D into the body of the GF1 (not quite on the size, but close enough). There are still some unan­swered ques­tions, but I’m giddy!
