Through the blog on the Durham Skate Park, the Durham Convention and Visitors Bureau contacted me because there were interested in some of my photos.  Since I love showing off my photos and my hometown, I jumped at the opportunity to share my work.  Now I’m looking forward to working with them more and showcasing the rich history and interesting architecture of the Bull City.

Today I headed down to the Golden Belt Manufacturing Company and Durham Hosiery Mill #1, two great places in Durham I didn’t even know existed until a few years ago.  One of the great things that photography has done for me has been to encourage me to get out and explore, and these are the sorts of things I’m likely to find after some wandering.
