This past Saturday, I had the good fortune to photograph Brian & Jessica’s wedding at Duke Gardens. It seems that the stars were aligned, as Hurricane Earl marched up towards the coast during the week preceding the wedding, only to head farther northward when it counted. The result was a delectably cool (in a relative sense–it’s still September in North Carolina folks), sunny day with a nice breeze–a perfect day for an outdoor wedding!
The wedding was beautiful, and went smoothly, some misplaced earrings and some dress entanglements notwithstanding. It was a pleasure to get to know Jessica and Brian, first for their engagement shoot, and then for their wedding. Jessica & Brian–you seem to be a great couple, and I wish you lots of luck and laughter in your future together!
