Portrait Project: Reanna

As my portrait project moves along, I think I am definitely developing a consistent aesthetic. Obviously the locations and subjects are all different, but there is definitely a “look” that is emerging. Reanna was one of my very early subjects–I think maybe the second or third–and to my eye, her portrait is a bit softer and warmer than some of the subsequent ones. I had always intended this project as an exploration of style as well as an exploration of portraiture and of people. It’s interesting to see how the personalities of the subjects affect the final photos, and also the places in which they choose to be photographed.
