Rainy Day Photo Doldrums

Raindrops and Delicate Petals

I find the spring generally to be a rejuvenating time for photography, but it still brings some creative doldrums like the other seasons.  I find that even though everything around is bursting with color and things that are budding, blooming, coming to life, I still find it hard to find subjects at times.  Part of it is that spring is a busy time at work for me, so I have less time to shoot, and less time to ponder creative things.  And then I think the other part of it is just the natural creative lulls that come with any sort of art.  There’s not really any point to this post, except that I found this flower, and got something I liked out of it, even though I’m feeling a bit stymied creatively.  Ah well… rainy days are for this sort of noodling, I guess.
