Fujinon XF 18mm f/2.0 Firmware Update
Fuji shooters, I somehow missed the announcement of this lens firmware update, so presumably others did, too. Yesterday I updated both my X-E1 and X-E2 with the recently released firmware, and upon mounting my 18mm f/2 to the X-E2, found that it had firmware available also. This update follows the others from a few months ago, enabling functionality of the X-E2’s phase detect autofocus with the 18 f/2.
Apparently the update came out in late November, but I didn’t get the viewfinder message about it until yesterday for whatever reason (maybe I just haven’t had the 18mm on the X-E2 all this time?). Maybe I’m the only one who missed it, but just in case, I’m making note of it here.
